Mar 2020 21	The Ahsay default self-signed SSL Certificate or Dummy SSL Certificate on AhsayCBS will expire on March 21, 2020. If the Ahsay default self-signed SSL certificate is not renewed before the expiry date: 1). No AhsayOBM/AhsayACB clients will be able to login to AhsayCBS server using https protocol; 2). Scheduled and Continuous backups on AhsayOBM/AhsayACB clients using https protocol will stop working. Check out how to renew it from here: here.

Feb 2020 10	Due to limitations and functional issues with (Messaging Application Programming Interface) MAPI backup mode, which is a Microsoft technology used by Ahsay to enable MS Exchange Server 2013 mail level backup and restores, starting from Microsoft Exchange 2013 Cumulative Update 23 or above MAPI backup mode may stop working. To avoid issues with Microsoft Exchange 2013 mail level backup and restores, it is strongly recommend to transition from MAPI backup mode to (Exchange Web Services) EWS backup mode as soon as possible. Jan 2019 22	Ahsay Version 8 is released. In this eighth generation of Ahsay Backup Software, we have put more focus in enhancing the Office 365 backup features. The previous Office 365 Exchange Online module has been evolved into a total Office 365 backup solution, covering all types of data backups for Office 365. Oct 2018 30	Effect on the postponement of Daylight Saving Time in Brazil. Due to the postponement of the execution of Daylight Saving Time (DST) for 2 weeks by the Brazilian authorities in October 2018 (for details, please visit https://www.timeanddate.com/news/time/brazil-delays-dst-2018.html), such action caused a mismatch of time between actual Brazilian time and the time used in Ahsay's software which is based on the underlying Java program that Ahsay is running on. Therefore, from now until the effective night, the mismatch of time will affect Brazilian users, e.g. the backup will start 1 hour earlier comparison to the real world time. Please kindly adjust the start time for your backup users if necessary.

Oct 2018 22	Due to insufficient demand in Oracle Database , IBM Lotus Domino/Notes and StorageCraft ShadowProtect modules, starting from v8, support for these modules will be discontinued. Ahsay will not put any further development and QA efforts in enhancing these modules. However, to allow existing users to keep using them after upgrading to v8, these modules will still be available in AhsayOBM's backup set type option list. Our support team will keep providing best effort support in these modules until further notice.

Jul 2018 18	As announced last year, Ahsay's v6 will enter EOL stage by the end of year 2018. Ahsay Customization Portal's server for v6 will be decommissioned by then also. If you are still using v6, please be reminded to build and save your own branded installer before 31 December 2018. After the EOL of v6 being in effect, "Best Effort Support" will still be available.
