Using Pilvio Cloud Object Storage as the Backup Destination

With Ahsay Backup Software, your users are able to backup their data directly to a Pilvio cloud storage account. The Pilvio account can be user's own account, or a dedicated Pilvio account predefined in AhsayCBS central management console.

How to configure Pilvio as a backup destination in AhsayOBM

1). Login to Pilvio https://pilvio.com/en/

2). Click "STORAGE" and "+Create New Storage"

3). Enter your Storage (bucket) name for example "bkstor" and Click on "Create"

The "bkstor" bucket is created

4). Click on storage "bkstor" to show the access information; URL, Access key ID, and Secret Key

5). Now we can add Pilvio cloud storage as a backup destination in your new / existing backup set on AhsayOBM

6). Select "AWS S3 Compatible Cloud Storage" option, enter all the required access information; URL, Access key ID, and Secret Key, and Bucket Name. Along with other details for example as Port (443), "Signature Version 4" and "Connect with SSL/TLS" option select. Then click "Test"

7). AhsayOBM can successfully connect to your bucket on Pilvio

8). Save the Pilvio destination setting in your AhsayOBM

9). Let's try a backup by clicking "Backup" in AhsayOBM main screen

10). Select the corresponding backup set "files daily backup"

11). Select the newly created Pilvio cloud storage, and click "Backup"

12). Backup completed successfully!
